being that not many of us will be able to make it into new york in sept to protest...i have a better idea...i say we protest at local kingdom halls on that same day of the ny protest!

I think it's a wonderful idea having local protests to go on too. Of course the WTS doesn't want that.

Alvin Hansen...What is the whole story?

several times now i've read articles posted about alvin hansen and some big legal mess involving the wts.

unfortunately, everything i've read has not really told me much of the actual story.

if anyone here can fill me in, i'd like to know.

On the other hand they are legitimate court documents and the WTS or its fanatics do use fear and smear. Too, they are desperate for money these days.

and has the wt always had connections with the irs and us attorneys?

if so, what hope is there the feds will ever prosecute the wts re: the pedophile database, etc.?

i almost didn't have time to read the morning's paper, but a banner at the top of the front page entitled "cheerleading for jehovah" got my attention.

interesting comments in the toronto star can be read here.

the article has obvious input from the society and seems to be a pr type move in light of recent bad canadian press (calgary blood case) and likely future canadian programs exposing jws and child abuse.. interesting comments:.

Amazing, some are also being harassed and lied about. I'd think a state attorney general or even the FBI would be interested in these things. Aren't there emails for those??
